We also securing sponsorships for some of the children whereby a donor gives a $100 in order to sponsor a child for one year.  The sponsor, in turn, receives photos of the child, thank-you notes, and periodical progress reports.    Much of the financing for the building of the centre came from Professor Jon James of Chaminade University in Honolulu, who spent years selling special hand-painted leaf Christmas cards and raising funds from various sources.  He was on hand at the dedication.  Contact Paul Bowen for for web site information.
