Premananda Orphanage Centre was started after the terrible cyclone and floods in 1996 which devastated the entire Prakasam District.   Thousands of people lost their lives and more than one hundred thousand people were left homeless.  During this tragedy we organized emergency relief for the victims and were moved by the deplorable conditions of the children.  Immediately we consulted some of our friends and well wishers who encouraged us to start the Orphanage Centre to care for these poor and helpless orphans.  

    Presently we have 80 children in our orphanage.  We accommodate 60 orphan children and 20 semi orphan children from different places.    These children are provided with nutritious food, clothing, shelter, education, sport, spiritual development and love.   The orphanage is a non-sponsored Institution purely managed with the very little local charities and small gifts and donations from friends and well wishers both in our own country and abroad.
